Role and Responsibilities:

As a Consultant you will be responsible for the following:

• producing safety reports and associated assessments at our offices, and at the offices of our clients;
• the successful delivery of proposals and projects;
• supporting business development to assist in the growth of the company.

Experience:

The role is for a Consultant with at least 1 years experience in a safety and risk management environment in a high-hazard industry.

The preferred candidate will ideally have experience of supporting the production of safety cases in accordance with the requirements of client's safety case methodologies and processes such as HAZOP, HAZAN, PSA, ALARP, Reliability Assessments.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Candidates must possess a degree (or equivalent qualification) in mathematics, engineering or a science based subject.

Candidates must also possess associate or full membership of a relevant professional institution, and a demonstrable commitment to continued professional development.

Principal Consultant

Role and Responsibilities:

The role is for a Principal Consultant with experience in the nuclear industry and more specifically managing safety cases.   As a ‘Principal Consultant’ you will be responsible for the following:

• Technical and financial responsibility for the successful delivery of complex proposals and projects.
• Managing one or more key clients and/or a business areas.
• Business development to assist in the growth of the company.
• Line manager to more junior members of staff, providing mentoring and undertaking performance reviews.
• Meeting key targets set by the Directors.

Experience:

The specific role is for a ‘Principal Consultant’ with in excess of 8 years experience and a sound track record in the production and management of complex nuclear safety cases.  Specific experience in the production and management of safety cases at Sellafield would be an advantage.
The right candidate will need to support clients to help them meet their work programme commitments.  This includes managing client’s expectations against the needs of the business.  The successful candidate must also be technically proficient in applying client’s safety case methodologies and processes such as HAZOP, HAZAN, PSA, ALARP, Reliability Assessments.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

The ideal candidate would have a degree in an engineering or science based subject, be a full member of appropriate institution (e.g. IMechE, IChemE, etc) and have Chartered or Incorporated status.
